I’m unhappy about a service I’ve received from the NHS.

Perhaps you didn’t think a service provider did enough, they didn’t treat you quickly enough, or the service was taken away too quickly? Or maybe you feel like they didn’t treat you with enough respect? In these cases, we might be able to help you give feedback or complain.

If…

You’ve not been happy with an NHS-funded service, or you’re a carer who wants to complain on someone’s behalf, we might be able to help. It’s possible to complain about any NHS-funded services you’re using right now, or you’ve used in the past. If possible, you should make your complaint within 12 months of the incident, or within 12 months of realising you have something to complain about.

If…

You’re working with an advocate, they can help you decide whether giving feedback or making complaint is right for you. They can explain the process involved, how and who you should send this to, and what you should expect. Giving feedback can seem stressful, but an advocate can help you make sure your voice is heard and you get a response.
